The ZVEI European Office coordinates the political work of the electrical and electronic industry at European level in the core areas of digital economy, energy and environment and international trade. In addition, the European Office is the European contact point for ZVEI member companies and is committed to a strong Europe.

Since 2018 member of the Group on Capacity Building Initiatives, advising the Director of the ITU Telecommunication Development Bureau and appointed to a position of chairwoman in 2019.
Representative of the Republic of Poland at various global conferences (World Telecommunications Development Conference WTDC-17, ITU Plenipotentiary Conference PP-18, Global Symposium of Regulators GSR-18 and WSIS Forum 2017-2020). Responsible for organizing regional events in partnership with ITU, facilitating collaboration with different stakeholders in the framework of Regional Initiatives.
Sociologist (PhD in sociology, 2017) focused on social impact of technology, digital skills and implications of ICT for human and institutional capacity building. Received her MA in Social Science from University of Warsaw and a British MA degree in Social Sciences awarded by the University of Lancaster. CSR, public affairs and communications expert with more than 15 years of experience in telecommunication and ICT sector. Co-author of reports, author of publications, lecturer and public speaker.

Marcin Bochenek - Director's Advisor, NCBR

Doradca Dyrektora NCBR. Manager, ekspert w dziedzinie marketingu, public relations, edukacji medialnej, internetu, nowych mediów i telewizji. Absolwent historii na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim. Ukończył Kurs Strategiczno – Obronny w Akademii Obrony Narodowej (1993), ukończył kurs dla członków rad nadzorczych spółek skarbu państwa, zdał egzamin państwowy (w latach 1998 -2001 w RN Orbisu). Sławomir Cieśliński - President, Medien Service

Born in 1951 on the seaside but for 60 years he has been living in Warsaw. Graduate of History at the University of Warsaw.  Due to his maritime interests he had worked for many years as journalist and publisher in “MORZE” magazine and as advisor to the Minister of  Maritime Economy. After 1989 he held executive posts in Polish and foreign companies active in media, advertising and print industry (e.g. Polish Television, representative of Bertelsmann in Poland, “Europlakat Polska” ,“RUCH” S.A.).

He was one of the founders and later in 1999-2001 the President of ELKART Systemy Kart Elektronicznych. Since 2001 he has organized „KARTA” Conference (since 2008 under the name „Central European Electronic Card”, since 2017 – „Central European Digital Payments”), and since 2006 – conference series „Polish Cards and Systems”.  In 2011, together with Institute of Mathematical Machines he launched the Polish Interoperability Test for Electronic Signature (this event was renamed to CommonSign Warsaw in 2012). In 2014 Medien Service launched Digital Money & Blockchain Forum.

He  is a founding member of Bank Technology Forum (launched 2004), a body of Polish Bank Association.

Since 2009 Medien Service is also the editor of Polish Cards Almanac.Medien Service Sławomir Cieśliński  (established in 1990) is a member of Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications. Sławomir Cieśliński is  now a Vice Chairman of the Committee FinTech and the Committee SMART. ,He is a member of Polish Information Processing Society Association,  Software Providers for Medical Market, Chamber of Polish  Medical Information Technology. It is also from 2015. member of the Presidium of the Coalition for Cashless Trading and Micropayments.

 As the owner of Medien Service he works on promoting non-cash trade, e-commerce, e-administration and e-health care. He also lobbies for common sense. During the XII Congress of Electronic Economy, he was awarded the “Ambassador of Electronic Economy 2016” award and in October 2019 the medal “For services to the Development of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management” of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.

Michał Polasik is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland and head of the Centre for Digital Economy and Finance NCU. Od 2006 do 2009 r. pracował w Telekomunikacji Polskiej, na stanowisku głównego prawnika grupy, sekretarza generalnego, a następnie członka zarządu ds. strategii i rozwoju biznesu. Od 1995 r. przez 12 lat związany był z firmą IBM Polska, gdzie w latach 2001–2006 był wiceprezesem ds. operacyjnych. PhD Jarosław Tworóg - Wiceprezes Zarządu, Krajowa Izba Gospodarcza Elektroniki i Telekomunikacji

Graduated from the Faculty of Electronics of the Warsaw University of Technology. He promotes knowledge about the possibilities of increasing productivity through an integrated approach to the digitisation of enterprises and organisations. He presents Industry 4.0 as one of the manifestations of the emergence of a new organization of socio-economic life – a knowledge society. He believes that the prerequisite for creating conditions for the development of the Internet of Things in Poland is allowing the widest range of intelligent services to be marketed, which will accelerate the entry into the next generation of broadband networks (5G, NGA) and their profitability.

He is the author of the concept of building a Polish industrial specialisation in the ICT industry based on production of equipment for smart power grids and for the micro-energy installations market. He calls for providing significant funds for the development of energy storage being an indispensable element of energy and automotive systems based on digital technologies. He is one of the initiators of creating the I-USER technology platform, and the main author of the I-USER sectoral programme concept, supporting the development of devices for community power generation and smart home networks. He’s the main author of KIGEiT’s Programme for Digital Development of Industry and Infrastructure. He provided a vision of innovative digitisation, which will be driven by the widespread implementation of artificial intelligence technology. He perceives it as a cluster of technologies and refers to it as “technologies of thinking”. He was a co-author of the report on the impact of the availability of broadband networks on the growth of enterprises’ innovativeness. As part of the Industrial Transformation Team working with the Minister of Development, he proposed a set of legislative changes that will contribute to the growth of innovation in the SME sector. He was a member of the Council of the Polish Committee for Standardisation and the Council of Informatisation for the three terms of office with the minister responsible for digitisation.
