Nowadays, mobile payments are perceived as a key factor in technological development in the area of finance and payments. To a large extent, their existence and development is due to innovative companies referred to as FinTech. The dissemination of mobile payments will primarily depend on such factors as:

  • the development of 5G, IoT and AI
  • regional and global regulations
  • balance between user convenience and user and system security.

A graduate of the Cracow University of Economics (now the University of Economics) in the field of international economic and political relations, the specialty of foreign trade and a scholarship holder of The Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration in Helsinki. He has been associated with the area of banking and online finance management since the beginning of his professional career. In the years 1999-2007 he worked at the Bank BPH S.A. Group. From 2007 to 2018. at Bank Pekao S.A. he managed the digital banking area and was responsible for the implementation of the multi-channel service strategy as well as the development of electronic and mobile banking for retail clients as well as small and micro companies. In the years 2010-2018 he was a member of the Contact Center Supervisory Board – Centrum Bankowości Bezpośredniej Sp. z o.o. in Cracow. Bartłomiej Nocoń was also the vice-chairman of the Electronic Banking Council at the Polish Bank Association in the period 2016-2018.
He has extensive experience in project management in the financial services sector. Multiple speaker at domestic and international conferences devoted to management and sales issues
in electronic channels and aspects related to modern IT technologies and cybersecurity.

Jan Byrski

Jan Byrski specialises in legal protection of information (personal data, professional secret, enterprise secret), law of the financial institutions market in the broad sense, IT and TMT, including in particular proceedings before the President of the National Bank of Poland, President of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, Inspector General for Personal Data Protection, and administrative courts.
He provides legal advice to companies and financial institutions operating on the Polish and international markets. He cooperates with more than 60 data controllers from various sectors. Jan Byrski is a legal expert at the Polish Chamber of Insurance and the Foundation for Development of Non-Cash Transactions (FROB).
He participated in drafting an amendment to the Act on Personal Data Protection and the Act on Payment Services. Jan Byrski is a member of the Advisory Board of the IT in Administration monthly.
He is a speaker at conferences, seminars and training courses in Poland and abroad. Jan Byrski is the author and co-author of numerous academic and popular-science publications, including Ochrona danych osobowych. Aktualne problemy i nowe wyzwania (Personal Data Protection. Current Issues and Now Challenges), and the monograph Tajemnica prawnie chroniona w działalności bankowej (Legally-Protected Secret in Banking Operations), which has earned him the first award in the Scientiae Legis Excellentia contest for the best PhD dissertations concerning economic law organised by the National Bank of Poland as well as the habilitation dissertation „Outsourcing w działalności dostawców usług płatniczych” (Outsourcing in the Activities of Payment Service Providers) (C.H. Beck 2018).
Jan Byrski is an assistant professor in the Chair of Civil and Economic Law of the Faculty of Finance at the Cracow University of Economics. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University, School of German Law of the Jagiellonian University, University of Heidelberg, University of Mainz, School of Austrian Law of the Jagiellonian University and the University of Vienna. He studied at Ruhr-Universität Bochum on a scholarship awarded by the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation. He was on scholarships at Ernst-Moritz-Arndt Universität Greifswald, Johann Gutenberg Universität Mainz, and Max-Planck-Institut für Immaterialgüter-und Wettbewerbsrecht.
Vice-President of the FinTech Committee of the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications (PIIT). Member of IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) organization.
He provides advice to clients in Polish, German and English.

He is responsible for the management of company’s sales and business strategy.Prior to founding Neontri, he was the force behind the success of Trevica, a paytech startup bought by Mastercard. Earlier, he was also a partner and shareholder of Pentegy, an international IT consulting company.

 He has extensive experience in creating fintech solutions reshaping retail and corporate banking. Over more than 20 years of his professional career, he has been responsible for complex IT system implementations, managing software development, and building successful sales teams. 

He is a graduate of SGH Warsaw School of Economics and the University of Derby.

Management and implementation of merger projects under bank groups HVB, BACA and UniCredit, including merger between the banks BPH and Pekao and projects related to preparation of strategy for these banks and their development. Chairing the Supervisory Councils, among others of Centrum Bankowości Bezpośredniej (Direct Banking Centre), Centrum Kart (Card Centre) and Bank Card Issuers Council at the Polish Bank Association.
