In the coming years, work on the new legal environment for the functioning of enterprises will accelerate significantly worldwide. Currently, most entrepreneurs focus mainly on aspects of automation and robotization as a way to increase the productivity and quality of their plants. Accelerated digitization at all levels of the organization of an enterprise is associated with their integration (which is why this process is called vertical integration). Therefore, we should focus on raising the awareness of the engineering staff in the plants to make them aware that the future of their organizations depends on digital integration with other plants using similar process and machine technologies. Adaptations at a later stage can be so costly that they can even lead to loss of competitiveness and development opportunities due to inhibited access to the digital production network. Therefore, the topics that will heat up the discussion will be:<\/p>\n

- norms and standards that will be employed to establish technical specifications defining the interoperability of machines, applications and communication protocols,<\/li>\n
- the nature and protection of data that will be transferred between machines, applications and management systems in order to obtain the highest productivity,<\/li>\n
