Absolwent Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego i Akademii Leona Koźmińskiego w Warszawie.

Jakub rozpoczął swoją karierę w branży finansowej w 2000 roku w Grupie UniCredit, gdzie doszedł do stanowiska Card Business Head. Pracował też dla Citigroup i Mastercard. W PKO Banku Polskim odpowiadał za płatności, a następnie za rozwiązania cyfrowe, w tym bankowość internetową i mobilną oraz sprzedaż w kanałach elektronicznych. Był także członkiem rad nadzorczych eService, Polskiego Standardu Płatności oraz ZenCard.

Jakub dołączył do Visa w marcu 2018 jako Head of Product w regionie CEE. Odpowiada za produkty podstawowe i innowacyjne, w tym karty kredytowe i debetowe, tokenizację, oferty lojalnościowe i rozwiązania dla transportu.

Włodzisław Duch jest profesorem zwyczajnym, kierownikiem Laboratorium Neurokognitywnego w Interdyscyplinarnym Centrum Nowoczesnych Technologii, oraz pracownikiem Katedry Informatyki Stosowanej na Uniwersytecie Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu. Pracował też na Wydziale Inżynierii Komputerowej (School of Computer Engineering), Uniwersytetu Technologiczego Nanyang (Nanyang Technological University) w Singapurze jako Nanyang Visiting Professor i visiting professor (2003-2012). Ukończył studia fizyki teoretycznej (1977), obronił doktorat z chemii
kwantowej (1980), zrobił habilitację z matematyki stosowanej (1987), a po doktoracie pracował na Uniwersytecie Południowej Kalifornii (University of Southern California) w Los Angeles (1980-82). Później pracował między innymi w Instytucie Astrofizyki Max-Plancka w Monachium (1984-2001), Instytucie Technologicznym Kyushu (Kyushu Institute of Technology), Uniwersytetach Tokyo, Rikkyo i Meiji w Japonii, na Uniwersytecie Florydy (Gainsville, USA), Uniwersytecie Alberty w Edmonton w Kanadzie i kilku innych instytucjach. W latach 2012-14 pełnił funkcję Prorektora ds. Badań Naukowych i Informatyzacji UMK, a od kwietnia 2014 do grudnia 2015 wiceministra (podsekretarza stanu) w Ministerstwie Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego. Włodzisław Duch jest/był członkiem rad wydawniczych 16 międzynarodowych czasopism naukowych. Jest też współzałożycielem wielu towarzystw naukowych (fizyki komputerowej, sieci neuronowych, kognitywistyki, sztucznej inteligencji) i czasopism związanych z tymi dyscyplinami nauki. Przez dwie kadencje piastował stanowisko prezesa Europejskiego Towarzystwa Sieci Neuronowych (European Neural Networks Society, 2006-2008-2011), w 2013 roku został wybrany na Fellow of the International Neural Networks Society, jest czynnym członkiem komitetu
technicznego IEEE CIS, oraz ekspertem programów naukowych Unii Europejskiej. Jest członkiem Komisji Układów Złożonych Polskiej Akademii Umiejętności. Opublikował ponad 500 artykułów
naukowych i popularno-naukowych, napisał 5 książek a 21 współredagował. Jego firma DuchSoft stworzyła oprogramowanie GhostMiner, którego sprzedażą zajmuje się firma Fujitsu.
Głównymi obszarami zainteresowań naukowych Włodzisława Ducha była początkowo fizyka komputerowa i molekularna (1977-1990), potem (1990-2012) inteligencja obliczeniowa (Computational Intelligence), w tym metody pozwalające na zrozumienie struktur danych, ogólna teoria inteligencji komputerowej oparta na ocenie podobieństwa i składaniu transformacji oraz
meta-uczeniu, które automatycznie znajduje najlepszy model dla danego zbioru danych, informatyka neurokognitywną, czyli algorytmy inspirowane sposobem funkcjonowania mózgu na
wielu poziomach, architektury kognitywne, neurodynamiczne modele chorób psychicznych integrujące poziom genetyczny, molekularny i behawioralny, oraz modele pozwalające na
wizualizację zdarzeń mentalnych. Ma też na koncie kilka publikacji z filozofii umysłu. Od 2013 roku skupił się nad rozwojem Laboratorium Neurokognitywnego na UMK, a w nim badaniami
teoretycznymi i eksperymentalnymi procesów poznawczych. Mając szerokie doświadczenie w wielu dziedzinach nauki oraz zrozumienie różnych kultur, Włodzisław Duch stara się zbliżać do siebie różne społeczności naukowe. Ben Butters has worked at EUROCHAMBRES, the European association of Chambers of Commerce & Industry, since 2008. Originally from the UK, Ben moved to Brussels following a Master’s Degree in European Politics. He subsequently worked in both the European Commission and the European Parliament. Directly before joining EUROCHAMBRES, he created and for several years ran his own business providing EU advocacy support to UK small businesses.

A graduate of the Cracow University of Economics (now the University of Economics) in the field of international economic and political relations, the specialty of foreign trade and a scholarship holder of The Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration in Helsinki. He has been associated with the area of banking and online finance management since the beginning of his professional career. In the years 1999-2007 he worked at the Bank BPH S.A. Group. From 2007 to 2018. at Bank Pekao S.A. he managed the digital banking area and was responsible for the implementation of the multi-channel service strategy as well as the development of electronic and mobile banking for retail clients as well as small and micro companies. In the years 2010-2018 he was a member of the Contact Center Supervisory Board – Centrum Bankowości Bezpośredniej Sp. z o.o. in Cracow. Bartłomiej Nocoń was also the vice-chairman of the Electronic Banking Council at the Polish Bank Association in the period 2016-2018.
He has extensive experience in project management in the financial services sector. Multiple speaker at domestic and international conferences devoted to management and sales issues

Jan Byrski specialises in legal protection of information (personal data, professional secret, enterprise secret), law of the financial institutions market in the broad sense, IT and TMT, including in particular proceedings before the President of the National Bank of Poland, President of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, Inspector General for Personal Data Protection, and administrative courts.
He provides legal advice to companies and financial institutions operating on the Polish and international markets. He cooperates with more than 60 data controllers from various sectors. Jan Byrski is a legal expert at the Polish Chamber of Insurance and the Foundation for Development of Non-Cash Transactions (FROB).
He participated in drafting an amendment to the Act on Personal Data Protection and the Act on Payment Services. Jan Byrski is a member of the Advisory Board of the IT in Administration monthly.
He is a speaker at conferences, seminars and training courses in Poland and abroad. Jan Byrski is the author and co-author of numerous academic and popular-science publications, including Ochrona danych osobowych. Aktualne problemy i nowe wyzwania (Personal Data Protection. Current Issues and Now Challenges), and the monograph Tajemnica prawnie chroniona w działalności bankowej (Legally-Protected Secret in Banking Operations), which has earned him the first award in the Scientiae Legis Excellentia contest for the best PhD dissertations concerning economic law organised by the National Bank of Poland as well as the habilitation dissertation „Outsourcing w działalności dostawców usług płatniczych” (Outsourcing in the Activities of Payment Service Providers) (C.H. Jan Byrski is an assistant professor in the Chair of Civil and Economic Law of the Faculty of Finance at the Cracow University of Economics. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University, School of German Law of the Jagiellonian University, University of Heidelberg, University of Mainz, School of Austrian Law of the Jagiellonian University and the University of Vienna. He studied at Ruhr-Universität Bochum on a scholarship awarded by the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation. He was on scholarships at Ernst-Moritz-Arndt Universität Greifswald, Johann Gutenberg Universität Mainz, and Max-Planck-Institut für Immaterialgüter-und Wettbewerbsrecht.
